East Texas College & Career Night Set for Nov. 4 in Jasper

JASPER, Texas — The JE Collective Nonprofit Network is inviting students and parents across Jasper, Newton, and Hardin Counties — and surrounding areas — to attend the upcoming College & Career Night on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 5 p.m. at the Lone Star Community Center in Jasper.
This free community event offers career planning workshops, FAFSA assistance, scholarship information, and direct access to college admissions representatives from institutions across Texas and Louisiana. High school and junior high students, as well as homeschool families, are all welcome.
In addition to valuable educational resources, attendees can enjoy parent giveaways and incentives, mentorship opportunities, and plenty of hands-on information designed to help local families T.H.R.I.V.E.
The JE Collective — whose mission is “empowering communities for a brighter tomorrow through equitable access to education and economic resources” — partners with area schools and workforce programs to ensure every student has a path to success.
Information and participation are available from Deep East Texas College & Career Alliance, Lamar Institute of Technology, and several regional universities.
