East End VFD held awards banquet for graduating seniors

East End Volunteer Fire Department held an Awards Banquet Tuesday night and awarded three graduating seniors scholarships.

It was a total of $6,000 in scholarships. Kiley Gary was awarded $3,000, Kelis Jones was awarded $2,000 and Chloe Cooper was awarded $1,000.

A spokesperson for the department said, "Our scholarship program has taken off and we are so happy to be able to invest into our children’s future. We are so proud to be able to watch Kiley and Chloe grow into the amazing young women they have become we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them."
