The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Tamarcus Traylor of Newton and it is believed that it happened just after 1:00 a.m. this morning during a possible burglary.

Newton Police Chief Will Jackson today has confirmed that there was a homicide early this morning in Newton.
It is unknown who or why but it is believed that the actor has fled the area in a black vehicle. The identity of the deceased will not be released until after notification to next of kin.
