Early morning fire in Jasper was a complete loss
Just before 1000 A.M. the Jasper Texas Volunteer Fire Department was toned out to a mobile home fire in Northeast Jasper.
According to a spokesperson, "We responded and found the west side of the structure completely involved. A small dog was freed from the home prior to blaze reaching the east end of the structure". The department responded with 14 firemen, Engine 3 & 4, Command 1 and Brush 1.
They then gave appreciation to those who assisted in some way. "Thank you to Jasper PD for marking hydrants and ensuring we had access. Along with Mike Lout who was ready to help us pull hoses and anything else we needed upon arrival".
