DPS: Kirbyville Men Uninjured After Rollover Crash on FM 1005

Jasper County, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating a one-vehicle rollover crash that occurred late Thursday morning on FM 1005, just west of Kirbyville.
According to DPS, the crash happened at approximately 11:05 a.m. when a 2006 Toyota Tacoma traveling north reportedly entered a right-hand curve at an unsafe speed. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
The driver, 54-year-old Ronnie Lance Glawson of Kirbyville, and a passenger, 78-year-old Ronnie Paul Glawson of Kirbyville, were not injured.
Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, and DPS Troopers all responded to the scene and assisted with traffic control and incident management.
DPS reports the crash remains under investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
