Disturbance call in Burkeville resulted in arrest of woman with Chambers County warrant

BURKEVILLE, TX- The Newton County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at a residence on County Road 2096 in Burkeville.
Once they arrived, Deputies spoke with 52-year-old Angela Marie Nelson of Highlands. Soon, it was determined that Nelson had an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Chambers County for Bond Forfeiture on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 out of Chambers County.
Nelson was arrested and transported to the Newton County Jail where she is being held without bond.
