KIRBYVILLE, Texas — Jasper County Sheriff’s deputies have recovered a stolen ATV and arrested a Kirbyville man in connection with the theft.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies took a report on October 9 regarding a stolen Honda Rancher ATV from County Road 451, also known as Bonami Road. Two days later, on October 11, deputies received information that the missing ATV had been spotted in the same area being driven by a white male.
Deputies searched the area and located both the ATV and the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Jaron David of Kirbyville. David was taken into custody and booked into the Jasper County Jail on a Class A Misdemeanor theft charge.

Sheriff Chuck Havard praised his team’s persistence and dedication to protecting local property.
“We’re committed to chasing down thieves and recovering what’s been stolen from our hard-working citizens,” Havard said. “We’ve still got a lot of work ahead of us, but we’re staying after them — 24/7.”
David remains presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
