KIRBYVILLE, Texas — A Buna man was taken into custody this week after Jasper County deputies learned he was wanted in Hardin County on a felony Motion to Revoke Probation (MTRP) warrant tied to a prior narcotics case.
According to Sheriff Chuck Havard, Deputies Spivey and Tipton were notified of the active warrant for Donny Luckey, 43, of Buna, following his recent arrest in Jasper County on a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
Sheriff Havard confirmed that Luckey’s recent arrest resulted in his probation being revoked in Hardin County, which subsequently issued the warrant.
Deputies located Luckey at his residence in the Cougar Country area and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Jasper County Jail for booking.
Havard emphasized his department’s continued commitment to working with neighboring counties to apprehend wanted individuals and maintain public safety throughout the region.
Luckey is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
