JASPER, Texas – A Brookeland man has been arrested after investigators say he was found “squatting” inside an RV he did not own.
On August 23, 2025, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office responded to 3410 Sam Rayburn Parkway regarding a criminal trespass. Sgt. Cody Christopher determined that Jazz Aaron Manshack, 33, of Brookeland, had entered an RV he found unlocked and decided to move in.
Sgt. Christopher presented a probable cause affidavit to Jasper County Judge Mark Allen, who issued a warrant charging Manshack with Criminal Trespass of a Habitation, a Class A Misdemeanor. Manshack remains innocent unless proven guilty in court.
At 12:04 a.m. on August 30, deputies located Manshack at “The Stump” and placed him under arrest. He was transported to the Jasper County Jail.
