Kirbyville made history this past Sunday at the Lone Star Cheer Competition, and they didn’t just show up — they showed out.
The Kirbyville Youth Football Association (KYFA) Cheer program entered a team in every division:
Flag Division (ages 5–6)
Junior Division (ages 7–8)
Senior Division (ages 9–12)
Each team faced tough competitors from across the region, including Silsbee, Kountze, Buna, Woodville, Huntington, and Evadale. But from the moment Kirbyville stepped into the gym, the energy shifted — the Wildcats brought intensity, confidence, and Wildcat pride.
And the results?
Unbelievable. Record-setting. Completely earned.
For the first time in league history, all three Kirbyville teams came home with trophies. Not only that — all three squads were also awarded Most Spirited.

The gym was electric from start to finish — parents cheering, pom-poms shaking, music blasting, and Kirbyville spirit echoing through the building.
KYFA Cheer shared a heartfelt thank-you to the families who helped fuel the momentum:
“Thank you to our amazing parents and fans for bringing that Wildcat Spirit!”
From tiny bows to powerhouse choreography, these athletes represented Kirbyville with pride, grit, and heart.
This is what community looks like.
This is what hard work looks like.
This is what Wildcat pride looks like.
