CASA of the Sabine Neches launches ‘Kickin’ It with CASA’ outreach across six counties

CASA of the Sabine Neches Region has launched a new community outreach and marketing initiative aimed at bringing its mission directly into the communities it serves across Southeast Texas.

The initiative, titled “Kickin’ It with CASA,” will take representatives of CASA of the Sabine Neches Region on the road twice each month to visit all six counties in its service area: Orange, Jasper, Hardin, Newton, Sabine, and Tyler counties.

Through the outreach effort, CASA will spotlight local businesses, share updates on its mission to advocate for children in foster care, and connect with residents throughout the region. Each month, multiple local businesses will be randomly selected for recognition, highlighting the community support that helps CASA continue its work.

As part of the initiative, CASA has also launched a CASA Butterfly Scavenger Hunt, a family-friendly activity designed to increase awareness and engagement while encouraging community involvement. The scavenger hunt will rotate through the six counties, beginning in Orange County during the month of January, before moving through the remaining counties and repeating the cycle.

CASA officials say the goal of the outreach is to strengthen local partnerships, expand volunteer recruitment, and ensure that children involved in the foster care system continue to have strong advocates in the courtroom and beyond.
