Buna man turned himself in on charges of Indecency with a Child-bond made this morning

59-year-old Guy Stanley III of Buna arrested for Indecency with a Child

A Buna man has turned himself in following an outcry by a 15-year-old girl who says that the man sexually assaulted her repeatedly when she was only 13-years-old.

On May 2nd, 2025, a report was made by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office regarding the girls repeated sexual assaults. Following a thorough investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for 59-year-old Guy Stanley III of Buna for Indecency with a Child, which is a 2nd Degree Felony.

This morning, June 17th, Stanley turned himself in at the Jasper County Jail at 4:30 a.m. He was arraigned and received a $75,000 bond which he paid and was released from the Jasper County Jail at approximately 4:15 p.m. this afternoon.

As always, Stanley is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
