Buna man arrested on a deadly conduct warrant, while using his vehicle to destroy property

BUNA, TX- Saturday night at 8:30 pm, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a disturbance in the 3400 block of Hwy 96 South in Buna. According to the caller, someone was damaging property with a vehicle.

Deputies were immediately dispatched to the area, however while they were enroute, the suspect left the scene.

Before long, a deputy was able to locate the man driving Northbound on Hwy 96 in Buna. The man pulled over and stopped without issue. The driver was identified as 63-year-old Patrick Riecke of Buna.

It turns out Riecke was wanted by Jasper County for Revocation of Probation on an original charge of Deadly Conduct. Riecke was arrested and booked into the Jasper County Jail for the warrant, but additional charges are expected. The case is still under investigation.

As always, Riecke is considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
