Buna man arrested for shooting towards his grandmother

BUNA, TX- On Saturday morning around 11:30 am, Jasper County Deputy Gray and Sgt. Wade were dispatched to the 100 block of Cr 746 in Buna for a call of shots fired.
Once Deputy Gray, he detained the suspect who was identified as 24-year-old Rodney Holoman of Buna.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Holoman and his grandmother were arguing with one another inside the home.
During the argument, Holoman got a handgun and fired it in the direction of his grandmother’s feet. He missed her, but struck the wall inside the home. Holoman then went outside the residence and threw the handgun under the house.
Holoman was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon- Family Violence which is a 2nd Degree Felony. Holoman was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
Holoman is considered innocent unless proven guilty in court of law.
