A car struck a deer causing damage, but thankfully no injuries to the occupants

Just before 1:12 this morning a driver travelling on Hwy 63 E, near FM 1738 struck a deer, causing significant damage to the vehicle.
East End Volunteer Fire Department was called out to assist as well as the Jasper County Sheriff's Office. A silver Toyota Corolla had been involved in the collision with the deer. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries.
An East End VFD spokesperson said, "We would like to thank Jasper County Sheriff's Office and Hatch's Towing for their response and support. Our response included 1 Engine, 1 Brush truck, and 4 personnel."
