Not a lot of change expected this weekend and Monday with dry weather persisting. Mostly cloudy, warm, humid nights with lows in the middle to upper 70s are expected with hot, humid afternoons and highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s under partly cloudy skies.
Late Tuesday and Tuesday night, a weak, late May cold front will arrive with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
A dry air mass will then filter into the area thanks to northerly winds Wednesday.
Low temperatures will dip into the 60s Thursday and Friday with highs in the middle 80s under mostly sunny skies.

It'll feel a little more "comfy" next Thursday and Friday with highs in the middle 80s and lows in the lower to middle 60s.

A weak, late May "cold" front will arrive late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning in Southeast Texas with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Heat Indices will be near the Century Mark in the Lakes Area Saturday and the lower to middle 90s in the Triangle.

Skies will become partly cloudy Saturday Afternoon across Southeast Texas with highs in the middle 80s to around 90 in the Triangle and the lower 90s in the Lakes Area. No rain is expected with a breezy southerly wind.


The current upper-level pattern shows a weak ridge of high pressure over Southeast Texas. It is not expected to weaken or move through the weekend. So, not much change is expected through the weekend across Southeast Texas.

Low temperatures Saturday morning will only be in the middle to upper 70s...well above our normal low of 68.
