$32,000 in Little-Known Scholarships Available Now — Kirbyville Library Urges Students to Apply

Kirbyville, Texas — The Kirbyville Public Library is making sure students don’t miss out on free money for education this fall. Staff recently shared a list of lesser-known scholarships worth over $32,000 in total that often go under-applied, giving local students a stronger chance of being selected.
From math and the arts to trade school pathways and even a texting-and-driving prevention essay, these scholarships cover a wide range of interests and eligibility.

Alice T. Schafer Mathematics Prize
Deadline: Sept. 15 • Amount: $1,000 • Who Can Apply: Female college students
The Gates Scholarship
Deadline: Sept. 15 • Amount: Full tuition • Who Can Apply: Financially eligible high school seniors
StudyCorgi Scholarship
Deadline: Sept. 17 • Amount: $1,000 (two recipients) • Who Can Apply: High school and college students
Niche $25,000 “No Essay” College Search Scholarship
Deadline: Sept. 30 • Amount: $25,000 • Who Can Apply: High school and college students
Home Depot Foundation’s Path to Pro Scholarship
