Upper level high pressure will nose back into SE Texas resulting in highs climbing to around 90 and the lower 90s Saturday and Sunday with mainly dry weather conditions expected.

The High begins to break down next week so, a chance of showers and thunderstorms is forecast for Memorial Day and Tuesday.  

A series of upper-level disturbances, weak capping and the possibility of a weak, stalling front are all in the mix next week resulting in a low end scattering of showers and thunderstorms.  One benefit of the increased precipitation potential is slightly lower temperatures.

The first weekend of June, the high may re-strengthen which would mean a hotter, drier scenario.
