Neches River Radio Privacy Policy

Neches River Radio ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what data we gather, why it is required, how it is stored, and how it is disposed of when you use our mobile applications and streaming services.

1. Data We Collect

When connecting to our radio stream, your IP address is sent to our streaming service provider. This is required for technical operation and for reporting to licensing bodies (such as music royalty agencies).

  • Once received, your IP address is immediately anonymized and deleted, making it untraceable.

  • This data is never sold, shared, or passed to third parties beyond what is legally required for licensing reports.

2. iOS Apps (Apple App Store)

  • The Neches River Radio iOS App does not collect any personal user data when installed or launched on your device.

  • The app only communicates with our streaming servers to load app preferences and connect to the audio stream.

3. Android Apps (Google Play Store)

  • The Neches River Radio Android App does not collect any personal data during use.

  • To provide smooth audio playback, the app monitors the state of your phone app (idle, incoming call, in call, call ended) so that the stream pauses when you receive or make a call.

  • At no point can the app listen to calls, record audio, or collect phone numbers.

  • The app may request access to local storage. This is only used to store app configuration (such as colors, images, and settings) for faster launch times.

4. Data Storage and Disposal

  • Listener IP addresses are anonymized and deleted immediately after receipt by our streaming provider.

  • No personal or sensitive information is permanently stored by Neches River Radio.

  • Data used for app configuration remains only on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the app.

5. Your Privacy Rights

  • You are not required to provide personal data to use Neches River Radio.

  • You can delete the app at any time to remove locally stored configuration files.

  • Since no personal information is collected, there is no risk of unauthorized disclosure.

6. Changes to This Policy
