Woman arrested for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest at Sam Rayburn Country Club

SAM RAYBURN, TX- Sunday night at approximately 9:35 pm, a woman described as "very intoxicated" created a disturbance by screaming and cursing at restaurant management and wait staff at the Sam Rayburn Country Club.
Soon, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office was called out to the disturbance. The woman identified as 60-year-old Robyn Goyette of Brookeland, was found to be very intoxicated. As the deputy attempted to place her under arrest for Public Intoxication, she began to struggle and actively resisted arrest.
The deputy was eventually able to restrain Goyette and placed her into custody.
Goyette was charged with Public Intoxication, which is a Class C Misdemeanor and Resisting Arrest/Search Transport, a Class A Misdemeanor. She was transported to the Jasper County Jail.
Goyette is considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
