Former manager of Tackle Addict at Rayburn arrested for Felony Theft

On September 10th, 2025, Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Tackle Addict located at 3755 Sam Rayburn Parkway regarding a burglary. Deputies arrived and processed the scene. It was determined that someone entered the store and took two small safes that contained approximately $8,000.00. The case was turned over to Investigator Calvin Starkie. After a lengthy and thorough investigation, Investigator Starkie obtained an arrest warrant for Amber Williams on October 8th, 2025, for Theft of Property, $2500<$30K (State Jail Felony). At the time of the offense, Williams was the manager of the store. Williams surrendered to the Jasper County Jail on October 10th, 2025 at approximately 4:00 a.m.
Williams is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
