Welcomed change in our 7 day forecast

Finally a normal Summer pattern with scattered showers and thunderstorms that we normally see in a normal Summer. The combination of increased moisture, heating, sea breeze and outflow boundaries have helped trigger the storms. Another couple more days of scattered storms, maybe a better coverage Friday as some weak disturbances aloft will add to the mix. The upper High (Heat Dome) will build into the area late this weekend for a few days with fewer showers and hotter temperatures. Then the High will move out again late next week.
