Wanted Felon captured in Kirbyville

On September 19th, 2025, Sheriff Chuck Havard was made aware of a possible location of a wanted felon fugitive. Sheriff Havard and his deputies immediately deployed to the location off of 1004 East in Kirbyville. The wanted fugitive, identified as Blake J. Burch, 39, of Buna, was found at the location and was arrested.

He was wanted on a warrant issued by the Texas Pardon and Parole Board for Burglary of Habitation- (F1). He was also wanted by the Kirbyville Police Department for Assault causing serious Bodily Injury (MA). He was transported to the Jasper County Jail.

Burch is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
