Wanted felon arrested in North Jasper County

JASPER COUNTY, TX- Saturday morning at approximately 9:45 a.m., Jasper County Sgt Chris Wade was called out to Hwy 96 North and Cr 296 for a man lying in the ditch.
Once Sgt Wade he was able to identify the man as 34-year-old William Harris of Bronson. It was soon discovered that Harris was wanted by Texas Pardon and Parole Board for a parole violation for the original charge of Injury to a Child, which is a First Degree Felony.
EMS was called to the scene to check Harris out before he was transported to the Jasper County Jail.
Harris is considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
