KIRBYVILLE Texas - Wednesday evening. Kirbyville High School hosted Fields of Faith, at the Wildcat Stadium.
The event is organized by the student-led Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FDC) who brought together musicians and school faculty to fill the night with worship and testimonials for the community.

Doors opened at 6 p.m. where guests were greeted with free admissions and hotdogs provided by Faith Christian Assembly Church and a complementary bible from Gideons International. The event officially began at 7 p.m. with praise and worship singing, an address from the Principle of the High School Lessile Williams and testimonials from students about their journeys with their faith. The stadium bleachers were filled with students, their families and members from various congregations from across both Jasper and Newton counties.

“When I look out here, I’m thinking of my kids,” Said Williams to the audience, “And not just my personal kids, my four-hundred-and-thirty kids that walk the halls because they are my kids. I know your situation… If you’ve ever been to my office you’ll have heard me say ‘we see you’, and that’s my goal for this school because no matter your situation [God] sees you.”

The event capped off with songs and more hotdogs being served to the evening’s guests.
