Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department called to the same location twice today

At 12:35 p.m. Saturday, Tri-Community VFD was dispatched to an out-of-control ground cover fire. The department said that it was a close save, to say the least. Three acres were burned and two homes were endangered but saved.

Jasper VFD and Texas Forest Service provided mutual aid.

Then at 4:46, Tri-Community was called out to the same address as the initial fire.
