Tri-Community First Responders flew critical patient from church Monday

Paul Tri-Community VFD Information Officer

Tri-Community First Responders and Fire were dispatched to a critical medical emergency in the Erin Community earlier today. Upon arrival at the scene, the severity of the situation necessitated the immediate need for Life Flight to ensure the patient received advanced medical care.

Life Flight was successfully landed at the Erin Baptist Church, chosen for its suitability to accommodate the helicopter. This strategic location allowed for a swift and safe transfer of the patient to a higher care facility, where further medical intervention could be provided.

Unit 62, the on-scene command unit, oversaw the operation, ensuring that all protocols were followed and that the transfer proceeded smoothly.

The response involved the following units: Rescue 891, Brush 2, and Engine 2, with a total of 7 dedicated personnel on the scene.
