Three-vehicle accident near DamB

At around 5:15 Tuesday morning, The Texas Department of Public Safety, and Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department were called out to investigated a non-injury crash on U.S. Highway 190, near Dam-B.


DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "A 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2015 Buick Lacrosse were both traveling west and stopped at the red light in a construction zone on Hwy 190. It is reported that the driver of a 2005 Ford F-150 failed to control his speed and struck the rear of the Buick, which then struck the Chevrolet."


The driver of the Ford, identified as 39-year-old Jerome Williams of Missouri City, was not injured. Williams was cited for failing to drive in a single lane.


The driver of the Buick, identified as 47-year-old Cedric Adams of Jasper, was not injured.


The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 65-year-old Curtis Vanslyke of Jasper, also was not injured.
