Thomas Spoonemore Sept. 25, 1947 -May 30, 2024

Thomas Spoonemore, 76, of Buna died Thursday, May 30, 2024 at his home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, June 2, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with cremation to follow.,  Visitation will begin a t 1:00 pm prior to services.

Born Sept. 25, 1947 in Beaumont, Texas to Forrest Spoonemore and Gladys (Davis) Spoonemore, he had lived in Buna 9 years and was a heavy Equipment Operator.  He was a U.S. Navy Viet Nam veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Spoonemore of Buna; daughter, Michelle Burt and Jason of Buna; son, Daryl Tucker and Cassie of Groves; brothers, Ronnie Spoonemore and Forrest Spoonemore, both of Buna; sisters, Helen Casey, Patricia Young, and Evangeline Middleton, all of Vidor; 5 grandchildren, Jamie Foreman, Rylie Burt, Destiny Contreras and Omar, Devyn Tucker, and Amber Johnson and Mike; 5 great grandchildren, Karson, Kamri, Aubrey, Kipton, and Roczen.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tommy Spoonemore; brother, Jimmy, Richard, and Michael; and a sister, Charlotte Hollingsworth.
