Stringfellow Officially Files to Run

To the citizens of Newton County:

I Morgan Brown Stringfellow have officially filed for Newton County Treasurer on the Republican ballot.

Newton County has been my home all my life. Both my parents, my husband, and I are all Newton Alumni, and 2 of my children are currently attending Newton ISD, our oldest son has already graduated.

After graduation I went into the bookkeeping and accounting field. I have over 17 years of experience working in this field. I have 5 years’ experience working for Newton County. I started as a Commissioner Assistant then transitioned to Grants Coordinator. I believe my knowledge in bookkeeping and accounting combined with my understanding within Newton County government would be a great asset to our community.

I am a member of The Newton County Fair Association, I am your Fair Sweetheart Superintendent, a member of the Newton Lions Club, and the Secretary of the Newton Ex-Student Association.

This County is my home, and I hope to have the honor to serve you all as your next Newton County Treasurer.
