Stacey Lynn Michel of Jasper Obituary

A Celebration of Stacey Lynn Michel’s Life, age 58, of Jasper, Texas, formerly of Burkeville, will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Burkeville, Texas with burial to follow at Woods Cemetery near Burkeville, Texas.  Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the funeral home.  

Stacey Lynn Michel passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at her residence.

Stacey was born on January 20, 1966 to Adam and Virginia (Jenny) Michel in Beaumont, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Burkeville, Texas. Stacey liked cooking for her family and riding horses.  Her most special times were spent with her family and her grandchildren.  She worked for Jordan Healthcare for over 26 years before retiring.  

Stacey is survived by her father, Adam Michel of Woodville, Texas; son, K.W. Michel and wife Logan of Jasper, Texas; bonus son, Clayton Michel of Jasper, Texas; brother, Michael Michel and wife Becky of Angleton, Texas; sister, Melissa Stark and husband Kevin of Hillister, Texas; grandchildren, Grasyn Michel, Bayleigh Michel, Maci Jo Michel, one precious blessing on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia (Jenny) May Michel; brothers, Brian Michel and Anthony (Tony) Michel and two precious grandbabies.  

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7670 Woodway Drive, Unit 230, Houston, Texas 77063.
