ROGANVILLE, TX- On Wednesday evening, Roganville Baptist Church hosted their annual Thanksgiving Dinner where they serve the community by providing free food to their congregation and anyone hungry looking for company.

Volunteers prepared all the Thanksgiving favorites such as turkey, ham, dressing, pumpkin pie, country sweet tea and more! Over 50 people were treated to home style cooking!
“I’ve been here for over eleven years,” said Pastor Paul Swearingen. “We’ve been doing this long before I got here.” He spoke about the Church’s welcoming atmosphere and spirit of communion. “They welcomed me and we seek to welcome and serve others.”
The event began at 5:30 p.m. as Pastor Swearingen blessed the food and ran into the evening, only ending once there were no more mouths to feed, with more than enough food to fill everyone that arrived.
