Riley sentenced to 35 years in prison

The trial for Anthony Riley concluded yesterday. Riley was found guilty and was sentenced to 35 years in prison for his role in an armed robbery last year in Kirbyville.

As we reported last year, the then 58-year Oklahoma man entered the Family Dollar, in Kirbyville and approached the cashier with a large knife and demanded money. Riley then fled on foot but was captured within nine minutes of the crime.

Riley was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest Detention.
