Despite a rainy start to the morning, the skies cleared just in time to welcome festival goers to the 36th annual Azalea Festival, hosted by the Jasper-Lake Sam Rayburn Area Chamber of Commerce. The event, held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sandy Creek Park on Marvin Hancock Drive, turned out to be a vibrant, sun-filled celebration of community, entertainment, and tradition.

The festival featured a little something for everyone, from a stunning car show that drew in automobile enthusiasts to the upbeat sounds of live music performed by the J.A.G. Band. Dozens of vendors lined the park, offering handmade crafts, unique finds, and delicious food from an array of food trucks. Families enjoyed activities such as face painting and a bounce house, ensuring smiles and laughter throughout the event.

The annual festival continues to serve as a highlight for the Jasper community, drawing in both residents and visitors to celebrate the arrival of spring. With sunshine prevailing after the early morning showers, the festival was yet another successful chapter in its 36-year history, bringing people together to enjoy the best of what Jasper has to offer.
