Updated: Possible drowning search in Newton County

Update: As of this writing no recovery. Search by Fish and Game Officials aided by first responders. If the victim is not found this evening the search will resume in the morning.

Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby has announced that there is an active, reporting of a possible drowning at the Scrappin' Valley Lodge.

First Responders are in route to investigate. No details available at this time.
