JASPER, TEXAS- On December 13th, the Jasper Lion’s Club and the First Methodist Church hosted their 6th annual Pancake Breakfast in the Wesley Center. The community was invited to come and enjoy pancakes, sausages, and good company this holiday season.

Families were treated to free food and appearances from Frosty the Snowman and Santa Clause as volunteers from both the Lion’s Club and Jasper High School served their fellow man by serving food and pouring coffee and juice to all who showed up.
“We’ve had a lot of help from all over Jasper.” says Lion’s Club Member Derrek Clotiaux. “The pancakes are from MVP’s and Whataburger provided the sausages.”
The Lion’s Club also hosted a raffle towards the end of the breakfast. One lucky winner received a $500 Brookshire Brothers gift card and a Glock 19 handgun.
The event lasted from 8am to 11am and featured games and activities for the attendees as they enjoyed the Christmas season with each other, giving the gift of a free meal and good times for the whole of Jasper.
