One sent to the hospital following a one car collision in Hardin County
One car collision injured an Evadale man yesterday.
It happened on US 96 near the Jasper County line at approximately 1:45 p.m. Friday inside Hardin County.
The Texas Department of Public Safety Media Deputy Shana Clark said that the single-vehicle accident occurred when the Mazda 3 passenger car was traveling north when the car hydroplaned and struck a guardrail.
The driver, identified as 24-year-old Kendra Rhodes of Evadale, was not injured. Her passenger, 41-year-old Aaron Pitts, also of Evadale, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
