One person in custody in connection with Buna homicide

Updated information Jasper County Information Officer Karli Cherry- "At this time, we have one individual in custody at the Jasper County Jail charged with First Degree Murder of Arthur Logan Orosco. Once formally arraigned, we will release further information".

Earlier today;

Early this morning around 2:30 am, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a body lying on the shoulder of Hwy 96 in Buna South of Tractor Supply.

When Deputies arrived, they assessed the scene and determined that the man appeared to be the victim of a homicide.

The man was later identified as 18-year-old Arthur Logan Orosco of Buna.

An autopsy has been ordered and we will update our readers as more information becomes available.
