One Minor Injury Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Horse Trailer on US 190

BEECH GROVE, Texas — A multi-vehicle crash involving a car and a truck pulling a horse trailer temporarily shut down traffic on U.S. Highway 190 West at the Dam B bridge Thursday afternoon.


The Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene at 1:01 p.m. and arrived to find a car had collided with the truck and trailer. Allegiance Mobile Health – Jasper EMS evaluated all individuals involved, with only one person sustaining a minor injury that did not require hospital transport.


Two horses were inside the trailer at the time of the crash but were uninjured.

The incident was investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety – Southeast Texas Region. Hatch’s Towing, LLC removed the vehicle from the roadway, which remained closed for about an hour.


BGVFD responded with Engine 11, Truck 11, and six firefighters.
