Vehicle crash sends one to the hospital

At around 6:30 Friday morning, Jasper Volunteer Fire Department, The Texas Department of Public Safety, and First Responders were called out to a one-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 96, south of Jasper.

DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "A 2002 Toyota Sequoia was traveling north. It is reported that the Toyota traveled off the roadway for an unknown reason, rolled several times, and struck a road sign."

The driver of the Toyota, identified as 40-year-old David Waligorski of Vidor, was transported by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
