Obituary of William "Bill" Sterling

William Franklin "Bill" Sterling, 84, of Buna died Friday, August 15, 2025 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 19, at First Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Bill was born August 12, 1941 in Lufkin, Texas to Gibson and Susan (Lowe) Sterling and was a retired supervisor for DuPont in Beaumont. He was an Army National Guard veteran and had lived in Buna 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Sterling of Buna; sons, Clint Sterling of Buna and Chuck Sterling and wife Tanya of Bridge City; brother, Mickey Sterling of Gist; sister, Patsy Collins of Winnie; 4 grandchildren, Caleb Sterling, Craig Sterling, Colton Sterling, and Corbin Sterling; and 2 great grandchildren, Clara Sterling and Charlotte Sterling.
