Obituary of Valarie Brown October 31, 1946 - October 16, 2024

Valarie Jeanne Brown, 77, of Kirbyville died Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at her home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 20, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Watson Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home prior to services.

A  native of Oakland, California, she had lived in Kirbyville 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, D.C. Brown of Kirbyville; a daughter, Brooke Marchand of San Antonio; step-sons, Clay Brown of Newton; Tony Brown of West Virginia; and Travis Brown of Old Salem; a brother, Vincent Brooks of Orange; 3 grandchildren, Devon Armstrong, Nathan Armstrong, and Malik Armstrong; and a great granddaughter, Serine Armstrong.
