Thelma Laverne Atchison, 77, of Call died Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, August 28, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Laverne was born September 3, 1947 in Leesville, LA and was a lifelong resident of Call.
