Shirry Zachary, 77, of Newton passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 in Newton. Shirry was born on November 6, 1947 in Newton, Texas to Buster Jacobs and Elsie Pete Walker. A resident of Port Neches and Deweyville, she moved back to Newton in 2020. She worked in the healthcare industry for many years as an independent contractor.

She is survived by her son Sam Zachary of Nederland; daughter Stephanie Phillips & husband Charles of Newton; as well as grandchildren Chris and Brandon.
