Obituary of Paula Stanley

September 26, 1952 - August 4, 2025

Paula Stanley, 72, of Fred, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at her residence.

Visitation will begin 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. graveside service on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Steele Grove Cemetery in Colmesneil.

Paula was born September 26, 1952 to Adelard Michel, Jr. and Audrey Mae Flowers Babin in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. A 1972 graduate of Lutcher High School in Luther, LA. She retired after many years as a store clerk. She enjoyed listening to country and oldies music. Paula loved her family and spending time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adelard, Jr. and Audrey Mae Babin; and brother, Warren Babin.

She is survived by the love of her life, Lavelle “Lee” Brown of Fred; son, Danny Stanley and wife Sara of Vidor; daughter, Carrie Stanley of Dayton; brother, Larry Babin and wife Connie of Gonzales, LA; sisters, Marion Beasley and husband Jim Herzmer of Silsbee, and Valerie Hymel and husband Joseph of Gonzales, LA; grandchildren, Trent, Natalie, Serenity, Alysa, Sabrina, and Maybre.

Memorials may be made to charity of choice.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville.
