Obituary of Louise Risinger March 16, 1934 - December 24, 2024

Louise Risinger, 90, of Mauriceville died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 28, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 9 am Saturday prior to service.

Born March 16, 1934 in Lufkin, Texas to Malcom Garrett and Allfire (Havard) Garrett, she had lived in Mauriceville 57 years.

She is survived by her sons, Bacil Risinger, Jr. and wife Julie; Matthew Risinger and wife Monica; sister-in-law, Waldine Garrett; sister-in-law, Mary Barker; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bacil Risinger, Sr.; daughter, Eloise Pucket; granddaughter, Amanda Burns; grandson, Bacil Risinger, III; sister, Shirley Freeman; and brothers, Sam Garrett, Wayne Garrett, Marvin Garrett and King David Garrett.
