A Celebration of Kimberly D’ann Durdin’s Life, age 61, of Jasper, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the Jasper County Cowboy Church in Jasper, Texas with burial to follow at Holton-Grisby Cemetery in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas.
Kimberly passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.
A lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas and member of the Jasper County Cowboy Church, Kimberly was a former correction office with the TDCJ Gibb Lewis Unit, a former reservist-logistics with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and most recently a renewal specialist at Carahsoft Company. Kimberly loved traveling, tubing the Frio River and attending church, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and her dog Jethro.
Kimberly is survived by her father, Wayne Durdin and wife Linda of Kirbyville, Texas; son, Kyle Johnson and wife Kellie of Jasper, Texas; grandchildren, Abigail Johnson and Easton Johnson; sister, Karen Durdin Dodson and husband Jimmy of Jasper, Texas niece; Kelcie Durdin and wife Kristi of Jasper, Texas and a host of other family and friends
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Marie Gann
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
