Crystal Marie Silvey, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend, entered the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on November 2, 2025 at the age of 40. Though our hearts ache with loss, we find peace knowing she is now whole and resting in the eternal love and light of Heaven.

Born on December 20, 1984, in Dallas, TX, Crystal lived a life marked by love, strength and perseverance. She faced many challenges and hardships, but she met every obstacle with courage, faith, and an unshakeable will to keep going. No matter how difficult life became, Crystal never gave up – she fought through it all with grace, determination, and an open heart.

Crystal had a love that ran deep and true. She was a devoted mother to her two beautiful children, Devyn Burch and Sophiee Silvey, who were her pride and joy and the very center of her world.

She shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters, Melissa Welborn, Brandie Hernandez and her mother Cynthia Fuentez, who will cherish her laughter, her strength, and the countless memories they shared. To her family and friends, Crystal was a light – caring, compassionate, and full of life. Even in her final moments, Crystal showed the depth of her heart and courage. As an

organ donor, she became a true superhero, giving the gift of life to others and allowing her legacy of love and generosity to live on.

Those who knew Crystal will remember her strong spirit, her kind smile, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and loved. She was both gentle and fierce – a fighter with a tender soul, a woman who loved deeply.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Fuentez. She is survived by her mother, two children, 2 sisters, 2 brothers & multiple nieces & nephews.

Until we meet again at the gates of Heaven, Crystal, we will carry your love, your courage, and your light in our hearts forever.

Funeral service will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Bean Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Thursday, November 13, 2025.
