Obituary of Carolyn Belle Cowart

December 16, 1936 - June 11, 2025

Carolyn Belle Swindall Cowart, 88 of Kirbyville (Mt. Union), Tx passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at her home.

Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Jasper County Cowboy Church with burial at Magnolia Springs Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 am prior to service.

She was born December 16, 1936 to John Burton Swindall and Ella (Trotman) in Beaumont, Tx. She married Evertt Gary Cowart on August 14, 1954. Before becoming a housewife, she worked for the Kirbyville Banner.

She is survived by children, Mona Collier and Lonnie, Cliff Cowart; grandchildren, Justin Ballard and Cathy, Caleb Cowart and Whitney, Abigail Cowart Jones and Dakota, Amanda Cheyenne Cowart; great grandchildren, Jacie, Joshua, Jacob, Janna, Bucklee, Baker.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Joan Clayton and husband Gary.
