Newton County Sheriff’s Office releases New App

NEWTON COUNTY, Texas — The Newton County Sheriff’s Office announced the official release of its new smartphone application, designed to help residents stay informed and connected with the agency.

The app allows users to receive updates, access information and follow activity from the Sheriff’s Office directly on their mobile devices.

Officials also expressed appreciation to NCIC Inmate Communications for funding the development of the application.

Residents can download the app by opening the App Store on their smartphone and searching for “Sheriff Connect.” After setting up an account, users can use the task bar to search for the Newton County Sheriff’s Office and select the profile to set it as their default screen within the app.

The Sheriff’s Office encourages the public to download the app to stay up to date with news, alerts and information from local law enforcement.
